iOS User Interface & User Experience Design
Designing the interface and user flow for the NBAD Suisse iPhone app to be able to view your investment portfolios, including performance, currency allocation, asset allocation, maturity and transaction history, make online payments including standing orders in different currencies, order ad hoc and recurring portfolio statements, receive all original account statements, portfolio statements and transaction advices through the document safe within e-banking, access to investment ideas and information in the insights section.
CHALLENGE:
The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) announced the establishment of an independent wholly-owned subsidiary in Geneva under the name NBAD Private Bank (Suisse). They challenged me to reimagine the traditional mobile bank interface with the goal of making it easier for investors to promote and discover new opportunities and manage their portfolios on the way.
WHAT I DID:
I designed the interface for the iPhone app. The idea was that users can manage their investment portfolios, with easy and intuitive graphics and data display. Shortly after iOS 7 came out, I began refining the app to embrace the new aesthetics and incorporate existing user feedback, extending NBAD’s strong user experience to this new OS as well.
RESULT:
Before we get head deep in pixels I present early stage wireframes to the client to make sure the overall flow and user experience interactions make sense. NBAD Private Bank has quickly became became popular, despite not being a massive user app.
